ini resipi icing yg sgt cik ayu suka..kenapa? sbb sgt2 senang nak buat.. in 5 minutes aje dah siap? am i exaggerating the facts? you'll see.. hehe..
Amanda's Awesome Icing
1 cup Confectioners Sugar (powder Sugar)
1 Tablespoon Milk
1 drop Lemon Juice (fresh Or Processed)
1 Tablespoon Light Corn Syrup (i used glucose syrup)
Combine powder sugar, corn syrup, and lemon juice in a bowl.
******This next step is important!******If you need a thicker frosting, say for outlining your cookies, add LESS milk. Just a drop at a time.
If you have already outlined your cookies and need a to fill in or ’spill’ your cookies, you can add more milk (as much as you would need) to make your frosting very runny.
If you are using food coloring, be sure to use LESS milk. Most food colorings are liquid and can make your frosting more runny. If you are using a gel food coloring, your milk quantity can remain the same.
If you want to add different flavors, you can add drops of vanilla extract, almond extract, lemon, etc. to flavor your frosting.
If you want more SHINE, use more corn syrup and less milk. This frosting will stay good for days in the fridge.

1. ini barang2 yg kite perlukan: marshmallow bentuk bunga, toothpick, riben, tape hijau (yg mcm org guna utk buat bunga telur tu) dan gunting.
2. mula2 balut toothpick dgn tape hijau.
3. lepas tu, cucuk marshmallow pd toothpick td.4. kemudian buat bentuk daun menggunakan tape hijau dan lekatkan pd 'tangkai' bunga marshmallow td. dan ini hasilnya! p/s: boleh ikat riben kat bawah bunga tu kalau mahu ya!ini pula mcm mana cik ayu deco cupcakes dgn 'rumput2'.
1. 'icing'kan cupcake dgn chocolate ganache. tak rata pon takpe sbb nak bg nampak effect mcm tanah.
2. dgn menggunakan icing tip no. 233 dr wilton, 'icing'kan buttercream berwarna hijau di atas choc ganache td. pegang piping bag dgn icing tip 90darjah di atas cupcake, kemudian tekan piping bag dan tarik icing tip ke atas. (aisehhh... lupa plak nak snap gambar masa 'pipe'kan 'rumput' ni... harap2 blh paham la ye penerangan cik ayu ni.) dan ini hasilnya!
p/s: kemudian, blh taburkan bunga2 icing yg kecil dan letakkan marshmallow flower topper di tengah2 cupcake anda!

ok.. ini repeat order dr sis 'aqilah.. kali tak adhoc ye dik.. hehe... she requested for chocolate moist cake with chocolate ganache. and if the request came from 'aqilah, sudah semestinya kena COLOURFUL! hehe.. 'aqilah nak colourful chocolate rice on top, tp kakak ada sprinkle ni je dik yg colourful.. tp rasanya comel jugak ni.. =) o ya! the tag tu cik ayu tambah, sbb nak bg nampak lg cute.. hehe..
i bought these cookie cutters last weekend. cik ayu beli ni utk buat cookies for atia and ina engagement day in june.. they both request for cookies bentuk hati. nampak cutters ni sgt comel.. dan seperti biasa, cik ayu can't resist the temptation (pantang tgk benda comel) dan sekaligus menambah koleksi cookie cutters cik ayu yg sedia ada.

Devil's Food Chocolate Cake
1 cup all purpose flour (tepung gandum biasa)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
65 gram butter
1 large egg - size A (i used 2eggs, size C)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup buttermilk (homemade: 1/4 cup milk added with a few drops of distilled vinegar (cuka biasa), leave to rest for about 20 minutes
1/2 cup warm water
Methods:
Set your oven at 170C (i set mine at 160C)
Prepare your cake tins.
Sieve flour, cocoa powder, bicarbonate soda, salt, and set aside.
Beat butter with sugars until light and fluffy, add eggs.
When all well incorporated add the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder etc) and alternate with liquid ingredients (buttermilk + warm water) in three portions, last incorporate the vanilla extract.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until just cooked
Cream Cheese Frosting
250 g Philly cheese (i made only half-125g)
125 g butter (i use about 60g)1 cup icing sugar (i used 1/2 cup)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
juice of a squeezed slice of lemon
Beat the cheese and butter, just until creamy, add the icing sugar, vanilla and lemon juice.
Chocolate Ganache
200 ml double cream with at least 30% fat content
250 g dark chocolate, chopped finely
a pinch of salt
In a double boiler, warm the cream until just at boiling point, add the chocolate and salt and stir, when all chocolate is melted, remove from the heat and continue stirring until all well mixed.
Wait for the cake to cool completely, spread the cream cheese frosting and pour the ganache on top.

hari ini kite akan belajar mcm mana nak guna flower veiner, seperti yg saya janjikan dulu. (lina..entry ni spesel utk awak.. hehe).
1. ini barang2 yg kite perlukan: fondant, pewarna, rolling pin, stokin ajaib saya (hehe.. stokin berisi tepung jagung ya), acuan bunga (5 petal) dan flower veiner.
2. mula2 warnakan fondant anda. saya gunakan kaler violet dr wilton (comotnye la botol kaler cik ayu kan.. hehe).
3. kemudian canaikan fondant dan terap acuan bunga di atas fondant.
4. 'dust'kan sedikit tepung jagung pd flower veiner, dua2 belah skali ok! ini utk elakkan dr fondant melekat pd flower veiner. kemudian letakkan fondant yg telah diterap td di atas flower veiner. adjust kedudukannya supaya petal bunga tu selari.
5. tekan bhgn atas flower veiner ke atas fondant td. jgn terlalu kuat ya, nanti fondant akan jd terlalu nipis, ia akan melekat pd flower veiner dan susah pula utk di'handle' nanti.
6. dgn berhati2 keluarkan bunga yg telah di'vein'kan (ada ke perkataan ni? hehe..) td dan letakkan di atas permukaan yg blh mengekalkan bentuknya sehingga ia kering dgn sempurna. saya letakkan di atas sarang telur :) dan inilah hasilnya!
